Three boys and a new student
With JaNae being mostly M.I.A., she has asked me, her personal assisstant ie: right hand (wo) man to update her blog for her (never mind that I have been nagging her about it too).
Sooo, in a nutshell, here it is:
JaNae is now a student in addition to working full-time nights at the hospital. She is in an avionics program. That means she's learning to repair instrument panels for helicopters and airplanes. The plan is that when she's finished, she wants to work on the flight simulators on Fort Rucker. To quote her: "it's an inside job with air conditioning and no one dies if you screw up".
Her schedule is weekdays, work all night, go home and nap for about 45 minutes. (meanwhile, Amry gets up, gets Brice and Cian up and makes sure they have breakfast and pack a snack for school) Then JaNae gets up, fixes Cian's lunch and sees them off when Jim or Miles pick them up for school--Cian goes to school with Grandma Parker). On Mondays and Wednesdays JaNae goes back to sleep until 2:45. Then she's up again, picks A & B up from school(most days) drops them off at Mom and Dad's, then drives the 25 minutes to Ozark for classes til 6:30 or 7:00 pm. On Tuesday and Thursdays, instead of going back to sleep after the kids are gone to school...she has a speech class (Tues & Thurs) at 7:30 a.m. til 9:00. and THEN, afterwards, gets some sleep.
The kids stay at Grandma and Grandpa Parker's until Jeremy picks them up about 6 p.m.
JaNae mentioned that she couldn't do it without the support of family members. In fact, Jeremy is the homework checker/form signer now and has broadened his repetoire of menu items. He has even perfected heat and serve!
In other news, their chihuahua, Bella, had a litter of three male puppies on the 8th of Oct. They are just the cutest little guys! Their eyes are open now and they are starting to really crawl around. Bella is a good momma too. Temporarily they're named Carmello, Twix, and Oh Henry (yes, chocolate bars)
There's your Thomas family news update.
Hopefully when we return we'll have grades to report....or not.

Back in Bizness!
Well, last post was Nov. Most everyone already knows that I was hospitalized in Dec. and had surgery in Feb. Although I am still saddened by the card that was delt me, I (and my one remaining ovary) are trying to move forward. Several of you are aware that I was still hoping to have another child in the future. Apparently not in the cards. :(
Remember when you were a kid learning how to play UNO and you had like 15 cards in your hand? I kinda feel like that lately. My game plan (lol) is to group the cards by color, lay them down in different stacks in front of me, and pick up the corresponding pile as the cards are played. How come EVERYONE else has a wild draw 4 card but me??! :)
Anyways.....For our 12th anniversary, my beloved husband surprised me with an appt for a family picture with a local photographer. He even scheduled off work for it. I was pleased with the results.
I started back 2 work 3 wks post total abdominal hysterectomy (with a note from my doctor too). I am now working in the ER Registration dept in the hospital. In our efforts to reduce debt, I am now working full time AND night shift. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE night shift..... at least I used to. We'll see. ttfn NAE

Yes, Yes. I apologize for not updating our blog and of course for not posting those fabulous pictures. Halloween is this week and I'm still not sure what the children will dress up as. I want to be Ms. Understood but then, I think I already am. ;)
Since, the begining of October, I have been working 11-12 shifts every 2 weeks at the hospital and then helping out at a little boutique from 10A-2p. I work all different shifts at the hospital and in 4 different capacities. All of this for my dear sweet husband. I am working on being a little less selfish and self-centered. I'm not sure how much process I'm actually making though. I moved the bed out of the corner of our room (the way I wanted it) , so that Jeremy could have a night stand on his side of the bed (the way he wanted it). It had unfortunately been my way for more than a year. So- on to why I am working sooooo much.
I decided that for Christmas that I would surprise Jeremy with a trip to see his favorite Music group in concert. Here started the snags..... to be continued. Nae

pictures
I love to be able to show ppl pics of my kids. Coming soon-- more pics and I'm sure a comment on Auburn's season opening game. We're having a pay-per-view party!! Huraay! I hope you were invited. Amry (our 10 yr old) asked if we specifically got a satellite dish just to watch the footballs games. As we were all in the van, I thought I'd let her father answer that one. He begrudingly admitted that it was in deed the case. "However!", he added, that an important bonus was that we now had BYU TV (and of course there were also children's programs). LOL.
